Single-Handed Storage

One of the things that sets The Rog Rig apart is the patent-pending rod holder which allows the rod to be held only at the rear of the vehicle. This is made possible by the dual hook design.

I purchased the single rod holder rig with the intention of figuring out a way to mount it to my Rav4 roof rack. I needed a method of securing my 9ft. rod to it for easy access along trout stream pull-offs on narrow, slow goin' river roads.
I adapted mine to the roof rack using four 5in.balled bungees and a 6in. 2x4. for the angled support I needed. The unit works great, now I can keep my rod fully assembled and rigged, ready to fish, with easy, secure access from pull off to pull off. Thank you Rod Rig team, it's a great product!

My new DIY Ford Transit conversion van needed a way to mount fly rods. The idea is to make the rods available while actively moving from one spot to another without breaking them completely down. The Rod Rigs were the perfect choice for this. The quality of the holders is pro-level and the design couldn’t be better. My Colorado fishing guide son suggested your rigs and he was right on. Thanks for making this fabulous holder. It obviously outclasses the other options on the market.

Love the ingenuity to adapt the Rod Rigs to your needs! Thanks for sharing!
